It is the perfect place to eat, to drink, to sleep and most important for a village inn, it is also the perfect place to meet, relax and catch up with friends old and new. People tell us that it doesn’t look too bad either. The terraces and gardens have been remodelled, making the outside of the pub as attractive and a relaxing place to be as the inside. There are barbecues, garden games, al-fresco dining and occasional live music. There might even be the odd, quiet contemplative moment savouring a glass of wine in an English country garden, listening to bird song and truly appreciating the sheer good fortune we have in living in this particular corner of this green and pleasant land.
